Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. 100 stories of extraordinary Polish Women
This is an inspiring book about the strength and courage of its female protagonists.
Thirty-two illustrators were invited to collaborate on this project, creating 100 portraits of extraordinary Polish women. I created three portraits of women whose life choices and determination can serve as a model for our own actions. Each individual story can encourage us to pursue our own dreams and remind us that difficulties can be overcome.
In the end, two of my illustrations made it into the book: portraits of Krystyna Skarbek and Halina Konopacka.

Krystyna Skarbek
1908-1952
Polish intelligence agent, who was working as a spy for Great Britain.

Halina Konopacka
1900-1989
An athlete, the first polish woman to gain a golden medal at the Olympics.

Natalia Partyka
1989
She was a table tennis player, born without her right forearm. She’s the only Polish woman to take part in both the Olympic and the Paralympic Games.
