30 Ways How to Disappear Into Thin Air
"30 Ways How to Disappear Into Thin Air" is the first book for which I created illustrations. The collaboration between me and Albus Publishing came about as a result of a competition, in which I became a laureate.

The book consists of 30 short texts describing the same event in 30 different ways, allowing us to explore the story from multiple perspectives.
The starting point is a simple event: one day, Zosia and Łukasz, along with their mom, go to the swimming pool. When they return, they notice that the trampoline they received as a gift from their parents is missing from the garden. They are truly surprised and cannot understand what happened to it…

“30 Ways How to Disappear Into Thin Air” has a special place in my heart.
It was my first book for which I created illustrations, as well as my first competition in which I participated and won!
I found out about the win while I was in Gdynia at the Opener Festival. The day before, I broke my leg and instead of being in the crowd, I was sitting at home with a cast on my leg. I was in a very bad mood, browsing Facebook out of boredom when I stumbled upon the news that I had become the laureate of the graphic design competition organised in collaboration between Albus Publishing and the University of Arts in Poznań! This news immediately lifted my spirits, so in the evening, I went back to enjoying the festival – with crutches and a cast on my leg.

I had no experience at all in book designing.
I had to go through an accelerated course to learn InDesign. I also received valuable guidance from Marianna Sztyma, an illustrator who is friends with the publishing house.
